Slowing down on the highway: What’s the point?

I understand what's at stake

When you push the engine beyond 110 km/h, fuel consumption skyrockets. Every km/h costs more—both for your wallet and for the climate.

Driving slower has nothing but advantages:

  • it’s more economical,
  • it’s more environmentally friendly,
  • it reduces the risk of accidents.

And in the end, it costs very little time: 5 to 8 minutes per 100 km.
