How can you successfully compost in your garden or apartment?

Food scraps deserve better than to end up in the trash! When composted, they nourish potted plants and the entire garden.
As of January 1, 2024, all municipalities in France are required to provide a system for sorting organic waste at the source. This may involve assistance with purchasing a composter, setting up community (neighborhood) composting programs, or implementing a door-to-door collection service.
Whatever your situation, solutions are available:
- In the garden, you can compost your waste in a pile or a bin.
- On the balcony, use a worm or a rotating composter.
- In the kitchen or pantry, why not try worm composting or bokashi? It’s guaranteed to be odor-free!
- If you have a composting station at the base of your building, a door-to-door collection service, or a waste collection bin on the street, make use of it!
