What if you became an electricity producer?

Generating electricity using solar panels installed at home, rather than using electricity from the power grid, helps reduce your carbon footprint.
How can you generate electricity at home?
- Install solar panels on the roof: this is the most common option, as that’s where you’ll find the necessary space (10 to 30 m²) and the most favorable angle.
- Install solar panels on the facade: if well-exposed, this can also be an alternative to the roof.
- Purchase a do-it-yourself solar kit: Since these systems do not feed electricity into the grid, they can be installed by homeowners themselves. They plug directly into an electrical outlet and involve simplified administrative procedures.

What's in it for me?
Most small rooftop systems pay for themselves within 10 to 20 years. “Plug-and-play” kits can pay for themselves in less than 5 years.
