Repair or have it repaired: Is it really worth it?
I understand what's at stake
To extend the life of your appliances, remember to maintain and repair them: well-maintained appliances last longer. A thoroughly cleaned washing machine, a freezer that’s defrosted regularly… These small steps make all the difference! And if an appliance breaks down, keep in mind that it’s often possible to repair it without breaking the bank.

What's in it for me?
Repairing rather than replacing is also—and above all—a way to avoid unnecessary expenses, which means significant savings over the course of a year. The icing on the cake: financial incentives are available, such as the repair bonus (up to €45 for certain appliances). Also keep in mind the legal warranty of conformity (2 years, even for used items) or the manufacturer’s warranty if your appliance is less than 2 years old.
