How many people live in your home?

Input help

We will divide the household’s consumption (electricity, appliances, etc.) by the number of residents to calculate your individual carbon footprint. If a member of the household does not live there every day, you can enter a figure such as 1.5.

How is this figure calculated?

  • The number of residents cannot be zero or less than 1. You are the first resident of your home. We therefore do not currently take into account empty homes that you own, or a home that you rent and in which neither you nor anyone else lives. What's more, if there are more than 30 of you in your home, you're an exception - just enter 30!
