If you live alone, answer 1, if a member of your household does not live there every day, you can enter something like 1.5.

  • The number of residents cannot be zero or less than 1. You are the first resident of your home. We therefore do not currently take into account empty homes that you own, or a home that you rent and in which neither you nor anyone else lives. What's more, if there are more than 30 of you in your home, you're an exception - just enter 30!
