Taking the test🔥🔄 Switching from electric heating to a heat pump
Electric heating is fairly simple to install, but expensive to run. To reduce your electricity bills and benefit from a means of heating that uses renewable energy, you can install a heat pump.
To find out more about the different heat pumps, their advantages and disadvantages, and to find out more about their costs, installation and maintenance, consult our guide.
Notes
For the moment, we consider that replacing kWh of gas with the same amount of kWh of electricity is a good first-order approximation. We can then adapt this to the performance of residential installations.
If you also heat your water via a water heater, you will need to choose a heat pump that can also heat the water.
