Renting or car-sharing rather than owning a vehicle

The idea is to offer this scheme to people who drive very few kilometres a year and who own a car.

According to the 2025 National Car-sharing Survey, adopting car-sharing enables the average user to reduce their car journeys by between 750 and 2,000 km per year.

We have chosen the upper end of the range as this represents an estimate of the maximum potential reduction.
